Christmas Ghost Stories at the Crescent Hotel
Tour manager Keith Scales and Crescent College researcher/graphic designer Rebecca J. Becker - who have close to a hundred years of experience in professional theatre between them - present a selection of Christmas Ghost stories especially chosen for our seasonal visitors.
The rich and varied program includes:
A scene from the most famous Christmas Ghost story of all, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol;
A hilarious tale by Jerome K. Jerome, taking place in an English country mansion: Christmas in the Blue Chamber:
and A heart-warming tale by Jack Schaffer, set on the wild frontier: Stubby Pringle’s Christmas.
Come to the cozy, firelit Faculty Lounge at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, December 5-7, for an hour-long program of Christmas ghost stories, read by expert story tellers - a gift from the 1886 Crescent Hotel!
